Who We Are
Harmony Dental and Orthodontics started in 2015 at Grand Prairie, providing full-scope dental services to patients at cost-effective rates. Now, we have expanded our services to the communities in and near Lewisville, Texas, offering families quality dental care to foster our mission in promoting better oral health for all. Our professionals leverage their years of experience in dental care, providing their insights and expertise to improve your oral health with every visit.
Dr. Hu received his dental training from Peking University School of Dental Medicine in China. After graduation, he completed training in oral and maxillofacial surgery then practiced in Beijing for a few years before moving to the United States. After doing dental research at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Hu obtained his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and practiced in the Boston area before relocating with his family to Dallas. He has received advanced training in dental implants and is experienced in crowns, veneers, root canal treatment, wisdom teeth extraction, and the prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases. Through his years of dental practice, Dr. Hu strongly believes that everyone should have access to affordable dental care with the best quality. His care for his patients starts with listening patiently then delivers treatment with a gentle touch. Dr. Hu and his highly trained team have helped and cared for many people who’ve had trouble going to the dentist. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. Married with two kids, Dr. Hu often takes his children to parks for some quality family time when not working. He also enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and photography.
Dr. Grace obtained her doctoral degree at Harvard University and a certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She has been an Assistant Professor at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine before relocating to the DFW area in 2013. Dr. Grace is the recipient of the American Association of Orthodontists Faculty Development Award, Orhan D. Tuncay Teaching Fellowship Award, and Subtelny, Baker, Eastman Teaching Fellowship Award instituted by the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation (AAOF). She is also a reviewer on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJODO), European Journal of Orthodontics (EJO), and Journal of Dental Research (JDR). Dr. Grace actively publishes in peer-reviewed literature and is a speaker at many conventions both nationally and internationally. Dr. Grace has received specialized orthodontic training for the treatment of malocclusion in adults and children, as well as the management of developing dentition in children with interceptive treatment. Dr. Grace is committed to providing excellent care that exceeds patient’s expectations. Her practice philosophy is to deliver the highest possible care in a relaxed atmosphere. She enjoys coming to work and getting to know each and every one of her patients. Dr. Grace loves spending time with her husband and kids, and her interests lie in reading, writing, and traveling.
